Senior Warehouse Supervisor

ErpaHR is recruiting for his client in Prahova, one of the world's leading manufacturers of filters for application

in the Medical, Laboratory, Automotive, Appliance, Safety, and Building Filtration sectors, Senior Warehouse Supervisor. 

The candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation of our plant warehouse, managing fast movers’ materials,

from raw material till ready to ship products for retail channels. The figure we aim for will have to redefine the procedures,

layout and will participate, as key team member in the design of the new plant to be built in 2025.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in warehouse management, possess strong knowledge of lean principles and 5S methodology,

and be capable of working in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities & Activities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials.
• Ensure efficient and timely picking, packing, and shipping of orders to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments to prioritize orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Implement and maintain lean principles and 5S standards to optimize warehouse layout and organization.
• Train and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment for all warehouse employees.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Discuss reports on warehouse performance, including productivity metrics, inventory levels, and order fulfillment rates.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong knowledge of lean principles and 5S methodology, with experience implementing these practices in a warehouse setting.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of English language. Romanian language knowledge is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evening or weekend shifts as needed.
