Quality Engineer - Electric and Hybrid Engine Division

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Ghimbav, Icco Industrial Park, Romania Target Cities: Romania - entire country (relocation package is available)

Type of Contract: Unlimited, full-time

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the creation of quality plan documents and proactively contribute to product and process design, in line with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
• Manage the component introduction process and release by ensuring quality aspects of manufacturing approval (e.g., Control Plan, sample plan, test definition).
• Maintain up-to-date APQP documentation and ensure its implementation on the production lines.
• Authority to block parts from the production area and stop production lines if nonconformities are found.
• Monitor the quarantine area and follow up on parts flow.
• Analyze and report on Product Quality Containment.

Key Projects:

• Involvement in new market technologies for Electric Axel Drives and Hybrid Motors.

Reporting Line: Directly to the Head of Electrification Plant Division.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience (open to Junior profiles as well).
• Languages: Advanced English is mandatory.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with SAP is required.
• Business Travel: Up to 5% or more (depending on the project), including China, Czech Republic, Hungary.
• Industry Experience: Preferably in Automotive/Production.
• Soft Skills: Adaptability, collaboration, communication, teamwork, assertiveness, high level of commitment, professional attitude, flexibility, analytical thinking.
